Grandma Sibby's Pumpkin Pie

relation, but a friend)
1 large can pumpkin
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/4 t. cloves
3 t. cinnamon
2 t. ginger
1 t. salt
4 eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup heavy cream
Combine all ingredients. Pour into two 9" unbaked pie shells and bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until done.
Shortcake
1 cup flour
1/3 cup margarine
1/3 cup milk
2 T sugar
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t salt
Prepare like pie crust by cutting in margarine to flour and other ingredients. Form into small individual cakes - about 4. Bake at 425 degrees 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Top with strawberries and whipped cream.
